Fruity Orange Drops Sorbet
INGREDIENTS:
- 200g Cavendish & Harvey Fruity Orange Drops
- 2 cups of water
- 1 cup sugar
- 2-3 fresh oranges
Preparation:
- Put water and sugar in a pot and heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the
sugar has completely dissolved and a syrup is formed. Then roughly chop the Fruity
Orange Drops and add them to the syrup. Continue stirring until the drops have
completely dissolved. - Then squeeze the oranges and add the fresh orange juice to the syrup and mix well. Let
the mixture cool completely in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight. - Either pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and process into sorbet
according to the manufacturer‘s instructions, or pour the mixture into a shallow, freezersafe
dish and stir with a fork every 30 minutes until it reaches the desired sorbet
consistency. Then pour into bowls or glasses and serve immediately.
